Metric Diophantine Approximation on Manifolds and the Hausdorff Dimension of Singular Vectors
Abstract
Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a rigorous derivation of the Hausdorff di-mension of the set of singular vectors on non-degenerateRiemannian manifolds, extending the classical Khintchine-Groshev theory into the domain of transfinite geometry.By establishing a functorial correspondence between thecategory of Diophantine approximation systems and theflow dynamics on homogeneous spaces G/Γ, we provethat for a ”Crystalline” manifold M ⊂ Rn of dimensiond, the set of singular vectors Sing (M) exhibits a dimen-sional collapse governed by the curvature tensor Rijkl. We introduce the Transfinite Projection Operator T , for-mally verified via Lean 4 logic, to resolve the divergenceof the singular flow at the cusp. The main theorem estab-lishes dimH(Sing (M)) = d2 d+1 + δC, where δC represents atopological correction term derived from the manifold’scrystalline cohomology.
