A Long-Horizon, Falsification-First Reconstruction of Operational Activity Using Environmental Constraints (1947–2025 Area 51 Nevada))
Abstract
This study presents a long-horizon, falsification-first framework for reconstructing historical operational activity using only environmental constraints. Spanning the period 1947–2025, the analysis integrates atmospheric, electromagnetic, ionospheric, and energy-budget signals across overlapping temporal windows and contrasts results against a geophysically matched control region. Rather than assuming anomalous or extraordinary mechanisms, the method explicitly tests and rejects counterfactual explanations that violate physical consistency, long-term environmental memory, or control-region symmetry. The resulting reconstruction reveals a smooth, internally coherent evolution of operational intensity characterized by increasing technical discipline, rising test complexity, and progressively refined environmental containment. The absence of exotic signatures is shown to be a strength of the methodology, demonstrating the effectiveness of constraint-driven inference for historical reconstruction, verification, and audit applications. This work establishes a generalizable approach for analyzing restricted or opaque operational environments without reliance on classified inputs or speculative assumptions.
