Abstract

Maximum Entropy Production Framework: A Complete Derivation of Fundamental Constants from S³ Topology Version 5.0 — Complete CKM Edition Description This document presents a theoretical framework that attempts to derive fundamental physical constants from geometric and information-theoretic first principles, based on the Maximum Entropy Production (MEP) principle. Starting from three axioms (logical coherence, locality, unitarity) and one hypothesis (antiferromagnetic coupling at the Planck scale), the framework derives numerical predictions for: The fine-structure constant (α⁻¹ ≈ 137) All nine charged fermion masses The complete CKM matrix (Wolfenstein parameters λ, A, ρ̄, η̄) Neutrino mixing angles with unitarity corrections The CP violation phase δ_CP = 270° Cosmological parameters including resolution of the Hubble tension The KSS viscosity bound The framework achieves 90% agreement (27/30 predictions) with experimental data using zero free parameters. Important Notes Status: Independent theoretical work, not yet peer-reviewed Falsifiability: The framework makes specific predictions testable by DUNE (~2030), LiteBIRD (~2028), and other experiments Limitations: Several derivations rely on approximations requiring further theoretical justification. This work should be viewed as a research direction rather than a completed theory. Companion Document This framework builds upon "Maximum Entropy Production as an Unavoidable Consequence of Quantum Mechanics" (also available on this repository), which demonstrates that MEP emerges from standard quantum mechanics via the Feynman-Vernon influence functional and large deviation theory.
