Cyber Privacy Awareness among Sri Lankan teenagers : A Case Study Approach

With technology being integrated more and more into our everyday lives, the issue of cyber privacy is increasingly an important topic to teens. This paper explores the extent of cyber privacy knowledge of Sri Lankan teenagers in an informal case study approach with the participation of multiple stakeholders. The results demonstrate that there is a general level of awareness, there are shortfalls in the implementation of cyber safe practices. The study suggests an immediate intervention targeting digital safety through an organized education system in Sri Lanka.
