Abstract

Title: Rincoin Project Community Logo (Design Concept)Creators: Tokino, Michiru and Aevust Rincoin Logo Trademark Usage Guidelines (v1.2) Preamble: Copyright License vs. Trademark Rights The copyright for the Rincoin logo artwork ("the Artwork") is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. A copy of this license can be found at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. This copyright license grants certain permissions, such as the right to share and adapt the Artwork. However, this copyright license does not grant any right to use the Rincoin name, the Rincoin logo, or any related identifiers (collectively, "the Mark") in any way that suggests an official partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement by the Rincoin project. The right to use the Mark as a brand, identifier, or "mark of origin" is governed exclusively by these Trademark Usage Guidelines. Using the Mark in a way that causes "source confusion" (i.e., misleading others as to whether your project/product is official) is strictly prohibited. 1. Purpose of These Guidelines To maintain the consistency of the Rincoin brand and ensure trust from users and external partners by clearly distinguishing between official activities and community activities. 2. Definition of Users A. Official Users (Provisional Name): The core development team, the (planned) Rincoin Decentralized Foundation, official wallets, official explorers, and other operational entities fundamental to the project. B. Community Users (Provisional Name): All other individuals, organizations, and projects not included in section 2.A. C. Enforcement Authority: Until the Rincoin Decentralized Foundation is formally established, all authority for interpreting these guidelines and granting exceptions or permissions rests with the copyright holders (Tokino Michiru and Aevust). The trademark management system shall be determined by Tokino Michiru and Aevust. 3. Scope of Use for Official Users Official Users shall use the Mark in connection with the Rincoin project's official services (wallets, explorers, etc.), official documentation, governance activities, and other activities representing the project entity itself. This usage serves to indicate to the community that such items are official decisions or offerings of Rincoin, thereby guaranteeing the brand's authenticity and credibility. 4. Basic Principles for Community Use Use intended to support the Rincoin project and expand its ecosystem is welcome. However, any use that may mislead others into believing it is an official Rincoin endorsement, or any use that damages the project's reputation, is prohibited. 5. Visual Requirements (Strict Adherence) To maintain the visual consistency of the Mark and prevent degradation of the brand image, the official "Rincoin Brand Asset Pack" will be published at a later date to specify detailed rules for clear space, minimum size, and other applications. In the interim, until the official Brand Asset Pack is published, all users must strictly adhere to the following rules: Use of Official Files: The Mark must be used exactly as provided in the official v1.2 files published on Zenodo. Selection of Variants: Users must select the appropriate file (Standard vs. Icon) based on the display size: Standard Pattern: Use for large displays, headers, and print media where detail is visible. Icon Pattern: Use for avatars, favicons, and small UI elements. This version features a larger "R" to ensure legibility at small scales. Prohibited Visual Changes: This rule strictly prohibits altering the colors, aspect ratio, proportions, or any other visual element of the official files. Legibility: Users must ensure the Mark remains clearly legible and recognizable wherever it is used. 6. Modifications to the Mark Strictly Prohibited: The following actions, which undermine the Mark's identity, are prohibited (e.g., distorting, stretching, rotating, changing colors, adding or removing elements, or carelessly combining with other logos). This is to protect the credibility of the Mark as a "seal" of official Rincoin origin.(Exception: Modifications by the copyright holders, Tokino Michiru and Aevust, are excluded from this rule.) 7. Allowance for Community and Commercial Derivative Works Notwithstanding the principles above, creative activities and the use of the Mark in community activities intended to support the Rincoin project (such as fan art, memes, explanatory articles, etc.) are welcome. This allowance extends to both non-commercial and commercial use (e.g., community-created merchandise for sale). This allowance is strictly conditional upon clearly and prominently displaying that such works are "UNOFFICIAL" or "FAN-MADE". This label must be placed so that a user can easily identify the work as not originating from, or being endorsed by, the official Rincoin project. Any use that misleads users into believing the work is official is prohibited. Design Description (v1.2) 1. Overview This document details the refined visual identity of the "Rincoin" cryptocurrency project (v1.2), conceptualized by Tokino Michiru and Aevust. Building upon the foundational v1.1 release, Version 1.2 introduces a sophisticated geometric evolution. By transitioning from angular motifs to fluid, organic curves, this version achieves a superior mathematical balance, optimized for both high-resolution digital interfaces and small-scale terminal applications. 2. Design Concept The design serves as a visual manifesto of Rincoin’s core tenets: decentralization, infinite scalability, and structural trust. Core Motifs: The identity is anchored by a stylized letter "R," integrated with double vertical currency strokes. This synthesis establishes an immediate semiotic link to global monetary standards, positioning Rincoin as a robust medium of value. Symbolism of the "Crescent X": The "X" motif—specifically the negative space on the left flank—has been evolved into a smooth crescent geometry in v1.2. This curve symbolizes the infinite (∞) and cosmic potential of blockchain technology. The transition to a fluid arc represents a frictionless ecosystem and the limitless, organic growth of the Rincoin network. The "8.88° Tilt" (Inclined Version): The slanted iteration is mathematically calibrated at 8.88 degrees. This specific angle is engineered to embody the "Golden Mean" between progressive momentum (the drive toward the future) and architectural stability (the resilience of the underlying protocol). 3. Design Foundation This logo's structure is not based on mere inspiration but is grounded in mathematical harmony. The core framework is constructed using classical mathematical ratios, including the Golden Ratio (1:1.618), the Silver Ratio (1:1.414), and the Unit Ratio (1:1). This approach creates a visually harmonious design that maintains its beauty across time and media. 4. Rincoin Logo System (v1.2) Definition The Rincoin logo system v1.2 consists of two style variations, each containing two optical patterns. A. Style Variations (Primary & Secondary) 1. Primary Logo: Vertical Version Role: This serves as the primary official identity of Rincoin. Symbolism: Represents "Reliability," "Stability," and "Authority." Use Cases: Preferred for formal documentation, official website headers, exchanges, and institutional representations. 2. Secondary Logo: Inclined Version (8.88° Tilt) Role: This is the secondary official logo, designed to complement the Primary Logo. Symbolism: Represents "Progressiveness," "Speed," and "Dynamism." Use Cases: Ideal for marketing materials, social media promotion, and contexts emphasizing growth and innovation. B. Optical Patterns (Standard vs. Icon) Both the Primary and Secondary logos are available in two optical patterns: 1. Standard Pattern Description: Balanced for larger sizes. Use: General usage (documents, large banners). 2. Icon Pattern (New in v1.1~) Description: Features a biologically enlarged "R" and adjusted negative space. Use: Strictly for small-scale display (e.g., Twitter/X icons, Discord avatars, Favicons, App icons) to prevent the lines from blurring together. 5. Future Updates A detailed technical specification document, including precise ratios, component definitions, and structural diagrams, will be added to this record as a supplementary file at a later date.
