Validation of 'The Great Fading' Hypothesis via High-Resolution Milky Way Simulation Data
Abstract
This document serves as a formal pre-registration of a research proposal aimed at using the recent "star-by-star" N-body simulation of the Milky Way (Hirashima et al., RIKEN iTHEMS) as a control group to test The Great Fading (T.G.F.) hypothesis. The T.G.F. hypothesis postulates a secular decay of baryonic mass ($dM/dt < 0$) as an alternative to the metric expansion of the universe and Dark Matter models. This proposal outlines the request for specific data subsets to validate two core premises: Galactic Core Dynamics: Comparison of stellar velocity dispersion in the Galactic Bulge to identify gravitational discrepancies consistent with fading mass rather than invisible mass (Dark Matter). Sagittarius Habitability (The Triad): Analysis of radiation feedback and thermal conditions in the direction of Sagittarius. The hypothesis predicts that mass fading attenuates radiation in dense regions, allowing for stable "frequencies of life" (The Triad) in areas currently modeled as sterile by the Standard Model.
