THE MKS ® -THRONAXIS FRAMEWORK: A HOMECOMING REINTEGRATION OF DISCIPLINES BEYOND POSTMODERN FRAGMENTATION
Abstract
Abstract The contemporary intellectual landscape faces an epistemic crisis characterized by disciplinary fragmentation and the inability to coordinate knowledge across domains. Postmodernism successfully dismantled unjustified epistemic absolutism, but failed to provide constructive alternatives, leaving disciplines stranded as competitors rather than collaborators. This paper presents the MKS ® -Thronaxis Framework as a necessary post- postmodern response that achieves what can be termed a 'homecoming reintegration'—the reunification of fragmented knowledge domains through re-engineered epistemology, ontology, and metaphysics. Grounded in Thronaxis Cosmology's stratified ontological architecture, the framework transforms disciplinary relationships from competition to collaboration by establishing each domain's proper authority within an ordered whole. Through three integrated pillars—qualified empiricism, metadisciplinary hierarchy, and synthetic unity—MKS-Thronaxis enables empirical science, philosophical reasoning, and metaphysical ontology, and theological knowledge to function as collaborative partners rather than mutually exclusive alternatives. Unlike interdisciplinary approaches that merely facilitate exchange, or transdisciplinary approaches that blur boundaries, the MKS- Thronaxis Framework operates metadisciplinarily, re- engineering the fundamental structure of knowledge itself. The The framework addresses the decisive failures of modern philosophy (Kantian bifurcation, Hegelian totalization, Marxian reduction) and postmodern thought (epistemological nihilism, metaphysical anti-realism, ethical relativism, and theological reductionism) while preserving their critical insights. This paper demonstrates that MKS-Thronaxis emerges not as one theoretical option but as a Historically necessary architecture enabling disciplines to return home to their proper places within a unified knowledge structure, functioning together as collaborators in the pursuit of comprehensive truth.
