Abstract

This work presents a conceptual and interpretative analysis of black hole singularities within classical general relativity. It argues that curvature divergences should be understood as indicators of the breakdown of classical spacetime descriptions rather than as physically realized infinities. Drawing on effective field theory reasoning, operational measurability, and limit-based interpretations, the manuscript introduces an operational curvature cutoff principle according to which curvature invariants exceeding a fundamental scale lose physical meaning. The discussion is extended to gravitational self-energy in quantum superposition scenarios, suggesting that similar operational limitations arise in gravitationally induced collapse models. No new theory of quantum gravity is proposed; the work is intended as a foundational and conceptual contribution.
