Abstract

Law enforcement agencies face an impossible challenge: officers cannot be everywhere at once, yet criminals exploit gaps in coverage. Traditional solutions—more patrol cars, fixed cameras, extended overtime—drain budgets without solving the core problem: immediate, visible deterrence in high-crime areas. SkyWatch changes the equation. Pole-mounted autonomous drones provide 300-meter coverage radius per unit, launching in under 30 seconds when thermal and PIR sensors detect criminal activity. Trained police operators control graduated response: visual warnings (police strobes, 3000-lumen spotlight), acoustic warnings (120dB sirens, two-way audio), and when necessary, less-lethal chemical deterrents (tear gas or pepper spray) for crowd control or suspect apprehension.
