Falsification Tests and Boundary Conditions of Regulatory Patterns
Abstract
This paper specifies explicit falsification criteria and boundary conditions for the Regulatory Patterns framework. It delineates the observable conditions under which the assumption of stable regulatory organisation would fail, including negative predictions, temporal signatures, and differential predictions relative to process-based models. The analysis renders the framework empirically vulnerable by defining the longitudinal patterns whose absence would warrant its rejection.
