Phase Dynamics and Variational Closure of the C11 Framework
Abstract
Abstract Building upon the algebraic compactification scheme introduced in Phase–Compactified Dimensions: An Algebraic Recasting of M–Theory, we extend the formalism toward a complete variational closure. The goal is to show that the eleven-dimensional supergravity equations arise as the variational limit of a single phase Lagrangian defined on the cyclic algebra C11 with closure condition j11=−1j^{11} = -1j11=−1. In this approach, the differential geometry of M-theory is replaced by phase gradients, and the spin connection, energy–momentum conservation, and curvature terms emerge as algebraic identities within the phase field. We construct the explicit phase–Einstein action, demonstrate its stationary variational principle, and identify the correspondence between the phase curvature tensor and the classical Riemann tensor. This variational closure establishes C11 not only as a geometric analogue but as a dynamically complete formulation of the eleven-dimensional framework.
