Recursive Functional Stability: A Physical Resolution to G¨odel's Incompleteness via Self-Referential Loops
Abstract
Kurt G¨odel’s Incompleteness Theorems assert that any sufficiently complex logical system containsstatements that are true but unprovable within the system. This creates a paradox for physicaland biological systems, which appear to function with perfect internal consistency despite their complexity. In this paper, we propose a resolution via “Functional Consistency.” We demonstrate thatphysical systems do not require external meta-proofs; instead, they validate their own consistencythrough a dynamic, self-referential loop (Axiom → Theorem → Proof → Reality → Axiom).Using a graph-theoretical simulation of this “Strange Loop,” we prove that functional continuity actsas a real-time proof of consistency, effectively bypassing G¨odel’s static limitations.
