A Single-Constant Derivation of Electron Mass and Protein Folding under Kearon Conditional Unlocking Fields (CUF)
Abstract
Kearon Conditional Unlocking Fields (CUF), grounded in a single primitive: Necessitated Update Activity (NUA). CUF models persistence as viability under unavoidable constraints, without assuming matter, energy, spacetime, particles, fields, forces, or observers as primitives. A single invariant identity-locking threshold, k_star, is defined using an explicit viability functional composed of constraint-violation cost and retention-load (identity memory burden). The framework makes a cross-domain claim: the same lock threshold governs both quantum-scale identity persistence and macromolecular folding closure. Within this framework, the electron is defined as the minimum-retention locked identity loop, and electron mass is defined internally as retention-load mapped to SI units by a single frozen unit conversion. Protein folding is defined as the earliest identity-locked basin under staged physical and biological constraints, with fold identity represented at the topology or contact-map level. No numerical results are claimed in this version. Explicit falsification conditions and a benchmark execution protocol are provided. The work is fully testable and makes no domain-specific assumptions beyond the CUF/NUA formalism.
