Abstract

This preprint introduces PIN theory (Process before Appraisal Network), a structural framework for understanding human responses that occur prior to the formation of appraisal or evaluative judgment. The paper examines conditions under which judgment-based explanations become inapplicable and repositions support and non-intervention as structurally necessary responses in specific phases. The Pre-Branch concept, which constitutes one component of the PIN framework, will be examined in detail in a separate forthcoming paper.
