The Limits of Inference Under Stable Regulatory Organisation
Abstract
This paper delineates the epistemic limits of inference under the assumption that self-regulation is structured by stable regulatory organisation. It specifies which forms of inference are precluded in principle, which questions remain empirically open, and which sources of false certainty arise when organisational descriptions are treated as predictive or prescriptive. The analysis clarifies the boundary between organisational theory and empirical intervention research.
