Abstract

This repository collects a set of standalone essays examining conditions under which cognition, discourse, learning, and coordination remain viable—or fail—under inconsistency. Each essay addresses a familiar phenomenon in a distinct domain, reframing it as a structural problem rather than a psychological, moral, or motivational one. The essays are written to be read independently. They make no assumptions about shared theory or framework, and they avoid prescriptive claims. Taken together, they explore how demands for coherence, explanation, or abstraction interact with the capacity of individuals and systems to absorb them. Topics include dreaming, learning, argumentation, and organizational practice. The common concern across these domains is not meaning or correctness, but navigability: how experience, interaction, or coordination continues—or collapses—when global consistency is absent or prematurely enforced. These essays are observational pattern analyses, not how-to guides or prescriptions.
