The Heart Sutra as a Minimal Kernel Specification
Abstract
This paper presents a structural reinterpretation of the Heart Sutra as a minimal kernel specification rather than a religious or philosophical doctrine. The text is analyzed as a design document that defines a runtime in which instability, over-synchronization, and evaluative noise cannot arise by construction. Key terms are treated functionally—as process names, runtime dependencies, input rules, and execution commands—revealing the sutra to be a compact, self-consistent specification with explicit and reinforced operational guarantees
