Gr-cs time Higgs decoherence
Abstract
This note develops the ontological consequences of coupling a scalar clock field to the Standard Model Higgs sector within the General Relativity–Clock Shift (GR–CS) framework. Building on the S2/S2B radiative stability bound, it demonstrates that mass generation, clock eligibility, and gravitational time-rate geometry must remain almost perfectly orthogonal physical roles. By mapping GR–CS explicitly onto the Page–Wootters relational time formalism and introducing the Postulate of Eligibility for Time, the work provides a concrete ontology for why time appears classical, why null fields do not experience proper time, and why Higgs vacuum energy does not gravitate. No modifications to Standard Model amplitudes or quantum field theory machinery are required; instead, the results arise from enforcing radiative stability and relational consistency. The document is intended as a foundations-level contribution clarifying the physical meaning of time, mass, and gravity rather than proposing new phenomenology.
