Survival Dynamics A Cost-Equivalence Theory of Will, Comfort, and Persistence
Abstract
RFC-192: Survival Dynamics A Cost-Equivalence Theory of Will, Comfort, and Persistence Abstract This paper introduces Survival Dynamics, a minimal dynamical framework proving that survival, comfort, and free will are cost-equivalent expressions of the same underlying process. Central Theorem C_comfort(t) = C_will(t) = C_survival(t) A system survives if and only if it can continuously afford the cost of expressing its own will. Key Contributions Cost Equivalence Theorem: Proves that the costs of comfort, free will, and survival are identical Reward Dynamics: Axiomatic framework for dynamic, time-extended rewards with delay compensation Memory and Forgetting: Structural treatment of memory distortion as survival mechanism Mutual Aid: Theorem proving collective viability exceeds individual sum External Query Protocol: Formalization of context-sharing without decision delegation Completeness as Process: Redefines completeness as repeated questioning, not terminal state Structure Intentionally incomplete: Designed to survive by questioning itself Gate-type closure: Closed as structure, open for execution Self-referential: Framework applies to itself Non-coercive: Free will as repeated acceptance at each restart Theoretical Foundations Based on: Yang Jihoon Dynamics (RFC-180): Geometry of viable survival Gate-Based Numbers (RFC-189): Mathematical foundations Cosmic Dynamics (RFC-190): Universal viability closure Ethics as Fixed Point (RFC-191): Dynamic ethical framework Warning This framework is: Not for persuasion Not for everyone Not for rapid application Application without understanding increases system damage probability. Only those who persist can follow to the end.
