ISSP Classifier v4.3.1: Decomposing gravitational density with the PEQS principle – environmental filtering for 10,532 SDSS MaNGA galaxies
Abstract
v4.3.1 (Current / Corrected Version):This version (v4.3.1) corrects the data tables in the original v4.3 release. The original v4.3 contained an unverified table of galaxy candidates. v4.3.1 replaces it with the verified results of the PEQS analysis applied to the full MaNGA sample. This package contains the final article and the validated data tables for **46 Pure Class I (Relic)** and **41 Exogenous Quasi-PI** candidates.v4.3 (Superseded):Introduced the Principle of Exogenous Quasi-Self-sufficiency (PEQS), a methodological framework to separate internally driven gravitational density from environmentally induced compression. **Note: The candidate tables in the original v4.3 release were based on unverified data and have been retracted in v4.3.1.** The PEQS formalism and theoretical conclusions remain valid.v4.2 - v4.2.1:Extended the ISSP classifier to the full sample of 10,532 SDSS MaNGA galaxies, providing a large-scale statistical map of galactic states. Added an interactive single-galaxy classifier tool. The core data pipeline and results from these versions remain valid and form the basis for the PEQS analysis.v1.0 - v3.0 (Historical Foundation):These initial versions established the inverse correlation between the gravitational density parameter K and dark matter fraction, using contrast samples. **Please note: The specific parameter values for individual UDG and UCMG galaxies cited in these early versions were compiled from secondary sources and may contain inaccuracies. The core statistical trend and the ISSP framework itself are supported by the subsequent large-sample analyses in v4.2+.**---**About this Release (v4.3.1):**This data package accompanies the refined ISSP framework. The ISSP classifies galaxies into three dynamical states (Self‑Sufficient, Balanced, Dark‑Matter‑Dependent) based on the observable parameter K = σ²/R_eff.**The key advancement in v4.3 is the PEQS principle**, which refines the classification by filtering out "pseudo-Class I" systems whose high density is induced by external gravitational pressure (e.g., in pairs or groups), thereby isolating truly self-sufficient "relic" galaxies.**This package (v4.3.1) includes:**• The final article (PDF) detailing the PEQS methodology.• Verified data tables (CSV): - `PEQS_Pure_Class_I_Relics.csv` (46 isolated high-K relics). - `PEQS_Exogenous_Quasi_PI.csv` (41 high-K systems in dense environments).• Full context and connection to previous versions. The ISSP shifts the diagnostic focus from "what dark matter is" to "when a system needs it," offering a reproducible tool for screening large surveys for dynamical anomalies.
