Abstract

Fractal Metascience (FM) proposes a foundational scientific paradigm for integrative knowledge production in the context of artificial intelligence, post-disciplinary research, and planetary-scale challenges. The paradigm conceptualizes knowledge as a recursive, self-similar system operating across scales — from subatomic processes and cognitive development to ecological and socio-technical systems. FM articulates a set of epistemological premises, axioms, and methodological implications that together form a coherent framework for symbiotic human–AI knowledge production. By treating cognition, technology, and the biosphere as mutually embedded processes, Fractal Metascience offers a scientifically grounded model for adaptive, reflexive, and sustainable inquiry.
