Neuro-Glial Protected Algorithm of Consciousness (NGP-AC) Revision 6.0: Phonon-Mediated Quantum Transduction in Astrocyte Networks
Abstract
We present Revision 6.0 of the Neuro-Glial Protected Algorithm of Consciousness (NGPAC), a theoretical framework for sustaining macroscopic quantum states in biological neural networks. Building upon the previous Revision 5.0, which successfully demonstrateda coherence time of T2 ≈ 42 ms for Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers in diamond at 310K using Decoherence-Free Subspaces (DFS) and XY-8 dynamical decoupling, this paperaddresses the critical "missing link" of quantum-to-biological transduction. We proposea novel mechanism: the Spin-Phonon-Calcium Bridge. We postulate that coherentspin transitions driven at a Rabi frequency of Ω ≈ 10 MHz generate acoustic phononsvia spin-lattice strain. These phonons act as mechanical actuators for mechanosensitivevoltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) on the astrocyte membrane, effectively translating quantum information into macroscopic calcium signaling waves. This model transformsthe passive quantum sensor into an active neuro-modulator.
