DNA INTEGRATION ENZYME AND INSILICO SITE SPECIFIC DNA EDITING
Abstract
Integrase enzymes possess the ability to insert specific DNA fragments into a host genome. Leveraging this principle enables targeted DNA editing. To ensure accuracy and efficiency, an in silico tool can be designed to predict and confirm the successful integration of a desired DNA fragment into the host DNA. This computational approach simulates and verifies insertion events before physical experimentation, offering a faster, more accessible, and more precise method to guide the integration process.
