Abstract

Consciousness Curvature Framework (CCFy) is an independent, interdisciplinary conceptual research framework that proposes a structural model for understanding consciousness, decision-making, and cognitive dynamics through curvature-based abstractions. The framework integrates perspectives from artificial intelligence, cognitive science, neuroscience, philosophy of mind, and complex systems theory. CCFy introduces curvature as a unifying formal metaphor to model how attention, intention, affect, and agency emerge from non-linear interactions within cognitive systems. Rather than treating cognition as a static or purely stochastic process, the framework emphasizes variability, instability, and coherence as structurally meaningful properties of conscious experience. This repository contains the foundational document of CCFy, including theoretical definitions, conceptual formalization, illustrative toy models, and visualization strategies. All simulations and diagrams are intended for conceptual exploration and hypothesis generation; they are not presented as empirically validated models. The project is released under an open science paradigm to support transparency, reuse, critique, and interdisciplinary collaboration. CCFy is positioned as a living framework, open to future methodological extensions, simulations, and empirical interfaces.
