Abstract

This paper presents the Granular Entropic Field (GEP) theory, a novel physical framework proposing that spacetime is not a continuous void but a discrete crystalline structure. Specifically, we model the vacuum as a Face-Centered Cubic (FCC) lattice of Planck-scale granules governed by a Thermodynamic Imperative of Order (TIO). The theory demonstrates that this single geometric postulate naturally explains several fundamental mysteries of physics: Dark Matter: Identified as a phase-locked vacuum condensate with a packing efficiency of 0.74048, corresponding to the Kepler conjecture limit. This eliminates the need for undetected particles and removes physical singularities. The Speed of Light: Derived as a material property of the vacuum medium. Light is shown to be a transverse phonon propagating through the lattice at a unique equilibrium velocity. Quantum Mechanics: Emerges via the Madelung transformation of the lattice dynamics, providing a mechanical basis for wave-particle duality and entanglement. Fine Structure Constant: Derived purely from the surface geometry of the FCC Wigner-Seitz cell. The bare value of approximately 135.76 is calculated from the ratio of the rhombic dodecahedron surface to the inscribed granule surface, with the 1% deviation from measured values attributed to vacuum polarization. GEP theory provides specific, falsifiable experimental predictions, including quantized galactic rotation curves, vacuum phonon signatures in the CMB spectrum, and ultra-high energy photon dispersion.
