(GQR16) Gravity as a Coherence Ensemble From the Shield Law to the Einstein–Cartan Tensor
Abstract
We formulate gravity as the ensemble geometry of a coherence–curvaturefield governed microscopically by the Shield Law g2 = κγϕ. Starting from theSU(3)coh Lagrangian and the micro-Clausius identity δ(g2) = Teff δScoh, we de-fine a covariant coarse-graining operator E[·] and construct an emergent tensorGμν ≡ E[F aμαF aν α] − 12 gμν E[F aαβ F aαβ ] that is symmetric, divergence-free in themean, and Lovelock–equivalent to the Einstein tensor. Matching to Jacobson’sthermodynamic equation of state [1], we obtainGμν = 8πGc4(T (matter)μν + T (coh)μν)− Λcohgμν ,where T (coh)μν is the coherence stress E[JaμJaν ]/χ. This provides a microscopic routefrom coherence thermodynamics to spacetime curvature, historically rooted in fieldand spectroscopy lineages [ 2 – 17]. Empirical calibration of the Shield-Law regime(non-thermal THz modulation [ 18]; structural gate at PSII 8F4I [19]) is summarisedin GQR–XV [ 20– 22]; applied analogue-gravity tests are developed in GQR–XVII.
