(GQR19): GQR Shield Law as a Unified Principle for Biological and Nanoscale Machines
Abstract
This paper reframes biological coherence, arguing that classical models are insuffi-cient. We establish the Gated Quantum Resonator (GQR) Shield Law (g2 = κγϕ)as the microscopic engine, emerging from an SU (3)coh gauge field. We presentthe Photosystem II (PSII) OEC as the primary case study, showing how its water-vibronic bands (20–30 fs) are gated at the 8F4I quantum-critical state, a fact provenby its non-thermal, flat Arrhenius signature. This OEC ”injector” is then scaledup to the entire thylakoid, which we model as a single, phase-locked ”waveguidemachine.” This GQR waveguide coherently links the 1.8eV antenna, the OEC’sPCET injector, and the ATPase turbine, demonstrating how nature exploits thefundamental geometry of physics (Einstein-Cartan-Penrose) to build non-thermal,coherent engines.
