Abstract

This work presents a series of conceptual high-rise architectural systems developed through a geometry-driven design approach, emphasizing structural efficiency, aerodynamic performance, and passive environmental responsiveness in coastal and high-density urban contexts. The proposed architectural forms investigate the integration of curved shell geometries, diagrid and exoskeleton-based load-transfer mechanisms, and torsion-resistant configurations, including twin-tower and bulb-crowned typologies. The study explores how geometric articulation influences wind–structure interaction, load redistribution, and structural redundancy under high-wind, humid, and saline coastal conditions. Environmental performance is addressed through passive design strategies such as self-shading façades, stack-effect-driven vertical ventilation, and climate-responsive envelope modulation. Elevated podiums and integrated public landscapes are examined as adaptive responses to flooding risk, storm surge, and urban heat mitigation. The research is supported by symbolic structural models and equation-based analytical frameworks intended to establish theoretical validity and guide future numerical simulation and experimental verification. The presented concepts are not proposed as immediate construction solutions but as research-driven architectural systems for academic discourse, design innovation, and climate-resilient urban development. These geometry-based high-rise systems are particularly relevant for coastal megacities, tropical high-density regions, and innovation-oriented global cities seeking structurally expressive and environmentally responsive landmark architecture.
