Abstract
This paper is a critical and theoretical essay examining the mechanisms of institutional erasure, procedural abstraction, and epistemic exclusion within contemporary Western governance, academia, and cultural systems. Through a historical, legal, and philosophical lens, the work interrogates how lived experience, particularly that of disabled and neurodivergent individuals, is systematically translated into administrative objects, compliance narratives, and sanitized representations that obscure harm and responsibility. The essay situates this process within a longer intellectual genealogy, tracing continuities between nineteenth and twentieth century bureaucratic rationality and present day systems of institutional accountability, inclusion rhetoric, and moral outsourcing. This version is released as a preprint to establish authorship, priority, and public record.
