(GQR27) Geometry-Conditioned Directional Coherence and Bias-Free Rectification in YBa2Cu3O7−δ.
Abstract
High-temperature cuprate materials provide a structurally rich setting in which coherenttransport persists under strong thermal, structural, and vibrational noise. While extensivework has focused on pairing mechanisms and energetic considerations, these approaches do notfully explain how directional coherent response can survive in a dynamically noisy lattice. Inthe course of this study, we observe the emergence of sustained, bias-free directional transport(diode-like behaviour) under time-structured driving, arising only for a restricted subset oflattice geometries and local dopant configurations. Here we examine the role of lattice geometry and constraint architecture in conditioningwhich coherent quantum modes remain dynamically admissible, using YBa2Cu3O7−δ as a con-crete test case. Without modifying established quantum or condensed-matter theory, we showthat geometric and boundary constraints act as admissibility filters that suppress competing de-coherence channels prior to statistical averaging. The results demonstrate geometry-conditioneddirectional coherence across structural variants and local perturbations, yielding a falsifiableprediction class for structure–transport relationships. Superconducting systems represent oneexperimentally accessible limit of this more general organizational mechanism.
