Abstract

In IVF laboratories, embryologists often make handling and intervention decisions under uncertainty, without formal rules defining when intervention is permitted or prohibited. This document introduces the Embryo Intervention Translation Algorithm (EITA), a deterministic decision-translation algorithm that converts existing Predictive Bioharmonics stability and timing states into explicit laboratory actions. EITA does not analyze embryos, predict outcomes, estimate probabilities, or introduce new measurements, but maps each embryo state to exactly one of four operational decisions: touch allowed, conditional intervention, do not touch, or no intervention possible. The algorithm is deterministic, non-probabilistic, and serves as a real-time embryo protection and standardization layer that prevents mistimed intervention without altering upstream clinical workflows.
