Neutrino Velocity Anomaly as Evidence of Structured Vacuum Torsion Modes: Reinterpretation of OPERA and Predictions for DUNE/JUNO
Abstract
This paper reinterprets the 2011 OPERA neutrino velocity anomaly (Δv/c ≈ 2.48×10⁻⁵) through Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS). We demonstrate that the measured superluminal velocity v_ν = 1.000025c precisely corresponds to v_ν = c[1 + (α/23)(1 - f)] with f = 0.22 representing topological mass friction, where α/23 ≈ 3.17×10⁻⁵ is the fundamental constant of vacuum structure. TVS posits neutrinos as longitudinal torsion waves propagating in a vacuum with 23 discrete helical channels. The theory predicts energy-dependent neutrino velocities v_ν(E) = c[1 + (α/23)(1 - m_ν²c⁴/E²)], leading to testable inverse dispersion in DUNE and JUNO experiments. This framework mathematically formalizes Tesla's non-Hertzian waves and explains anomalous ELF propagation through Earth.
