Maxwell-Acosta Equations: Correcting the Continuum Approximation with Structured Vacuum Theory
Abstract
We demonstrate that Maxwell's equations, while extraordinarily successful in the low-energy regime, are an approximation that breaks down when vacuum structure becomes relevant. The Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS) reveals three critical corrections: (1) Channel saturation at extreme fields, (2) Longitudinal electromagnetic modes vindicating Tesla's predictions, (3) Frequency-dependent vacuum dispersion. We derive the complete Maxwell-Acosta equations, identify existing experimental evidence, and propose decisive tests.
