Abstract

This report examines the TPK Asia LLP case in Kazakhstan, focusing on the alleged loss of corporate control and key assets following a change in ownership in 2002–2003. It reconstructs the corporate and asset trajectory from the company’s establishment through asset alienation, national consolidation, and eventual bankruptcy, while documenting claims of coercion and procedural shortcomings at the national level. The report applies a neutral, evidence-based methodology and outlines practical international mechanisms—AML/PEP compliance, asset tracing, and cross-border legal tools—for protecting rights and pursuing potential asset recovery.
