The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM): Space-Time Emergence and Expansion through Cumulative Quantum Entanglement.
Abstract
The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM) proposes that the Big Bang was a Quantum Selection Event rather than a gravitational singularity. We hypothesize that from an infinite stochastic vacuum, a specific symmetry-protected entanglement property achieved topological stability (the "First Stitch"). This paper derives a holographic identity linking volume to weighted entanglement entropy and demonstrates that space-time expansion is the result of the cumulative growth of vacuum complexity. By accounting for variations in entanglement strength and non-linear scaling, the SSM provides a unified solution to the Hubble Tension, the DESI 2025 dynamic dark energy observations, and the presence of mature early galaxies observed by JWST.
