Abstract

This paper introduces “Engineering Medicine,” a systems-control paradigm that reconceptualizes the human body as an information-processing system. By integrating AI, computational biology, and wearable monitoring devices, this framework enables predictive, individualized treatments, optimizes physiological system stability, and supports preventive care. Continuous data acquisition allows early detection of deviations, while AI-driven simulations provide personalized intervention strategies. The approach unifies mental, metabolic, and neurological disorders under a single control-oriented framework, redefining health as functional stability rather than mere absence of disease. Engineering Medicine offers scalable, cost-efficient pathways for digital transformation in healthcare and positions medicine as an information-driven, predictive, and optimized discipline.
