Abstract

Code Repository for: Gamma oscillations provide a stable geometric scaffold for color representation in primate inferior temporal cortex This repository contains the custom MATLAB analysis code and toolboxes associated with the manuscript "Gamma oscillations provide a stable geometric scaffold for color representation in primate inferior temporal cortex". The code provided here enables the reproduction of the key computational analyses reported in the study, specifically focusing on the geometric and dynamic properties of neural representations in the primate cortex. Key Analysis Pipelines Included: Demixed Principal Component Analysis (dPCA): Scripts for extracting neural manifolds, calculating Mahalanobis distances, and visualizing dynamic state-space trajectories. Multivariate Pattern Analysis (MVPA): A comprehensive decoding framework including Time-Frequency Representation (TFR) calculation, Searchlight spatial decoding, and Cross-Temporal generalization analysis. Version 1.0 Note: This initial release contains analytical code and custom toolboxes only. Version 2.0 Note: The raw and preprocessed electrocorticography (ECoG) datasets required to execute these scripts has been made available in this updated (Version 2.0) upon manuscript acceptance. Version 2.0 Note: Optimized some code and added the function of retaining data results as Excel results. For detailed usage instructions and pipeline workflows, please refer to the readme.txt included in the file list.
