The Potential of Climate-Based Renewable Energy Planning and Development in Every Country
Abstract
Climate-based renewable energy planning integrates local climatic conditions with renewable technologies to optimize energy production, reduce emissions, and enhance resilience. This research paper examines its potential in every country, highlighting benefits such as emissions reductions, economic growth, job creation, and improved public health. It underscores the crucial role of such planning in achieving Paris Agreement goals and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with global implications for limiting warming to 1.5°C. Drawing on case studies from diverse nations like Uruguay, Morocco, and India, the paper analyzes impacts on economies, societies, and environments. While challenges like financing and policy barriers exist, the evidence suggests that climate-based planning is indispensable for equitable and sustainable energy transitions worldwide.
