ON THE FINITE REALIZABILITY OF OBSERVERS ALONG INFINITE INERTIAL PATHS
Abstract
This paper examines whether observers can physically sustain observation along inertial or geodesic paths that are mathematically infinite. By treating observation as a cumulative physical process requiring information retention, energy expenditure, and continuous enforcement against entropy, the analysis shows that all physically realizable observers—and any succession of observers transferring records—are subject to finite efficiency and irreversible degradation. As a result, while inertial paths may extend indefinitely within physical theory, observation necessarily terminates before physical law does.
