Abstract

This dataset contains primary case documents referenced in a qualitative, case-based study examining digital due process, platform accountability, and account termination practices on major social media platforms. The materials include consumer complaints and related correspondence authored by the researcher and filed with the Better Business Bureau, the United States Federal Trade Commission, and U.S. state attorneys general between 2025 and 2026. The documents are used as primary qualitative evidence to analyze procedural transparency, notice adequacy, appeal accessibility, and remedial mechanisms in platform content moderation and account enforcement systems. The dataset is provided to support verification, transparency, and scholarly replication of the analysis presented in the associated academic manuscript.
