NHANES adverse pregnancy history and early multimorbidity risk signal (NHANES 2017–March 2020) (Version v1.0) [Software]. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18137283 Summary Stable, versioned release of a fully reproducible NHANES 2017–March 2020 pre-pandemic analysis assessing whether clustered adverse pregnancy history is associated with: Early multi-system multimorbidity (≥2 of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease) and Moderate-to-severe depressive symptoms (PHQ-9 ≥10)among ever-pregnant U.S. women aged 20–44 years, using complex-survey design features to produce nationally representative estimates. What’s included (core deliverables) Reproducible analysis pipeline (R): data import/harmonization, variable derivations, survey design specification (weights/strata/PSU), adjusted models, and output generation. Manuscript-ready outputs: Tables (HTML/PNG): characteristics and regression outputs Figures (PNG): weighted prevalence plots and forest plot Data manifest: nhanes_data_urls.txt listing official CDC/NCHS documentation pages and XPT download locations required to reproduce the analysis. Reproducibility (how to run) Download NHANES public-use .XPT files listed in nhanes_data_urls.txt into data/. Run the main script in r_scripts/ (e.g., nhanes_repro_multimorbidity_study1.R) to regenerate all tables and figures into tables/ and figures/. Data provenance and licensing note NHANES public-use data are provided by CDC/NCHS. This repository does not redistribute raw NHANES data; it provides code and a dataset URL manifest to ensure traceable provenance and exact reproducibility. Scope and limitations Cross-sectional, observational design: associations are not causal effects. Estimates reflect NHANES 2017–March 2020 pre-pandemic files and the NHANES complex survey design. It is intended for epidemiology, biostatistics, and statistical/data science audiences seeking transparent complex-survey modeling, reproducible variable construction, and manuscript-ready outputs from nationally representative U.S. health data.
