SergeakaAimate/Ontology-Lab: Disappearing Ability to Read Links
Abstract
Disappearing Ability to Read Links An urgent diagnostic essay on the collapse of semantic continuity in the digital age. The author traces how the very capacity to follow a link—not just technically, but cognitively and existentially—is eroding under algorithmic fragmentation, interface obfuscation, and the decay of contextual trust. The hyperlink, once a promise of infinite traversal and epistemic depth, is becoming a ghost button: visually present, functionally inert, ontologically void. This text applies the Meta-Ontological Operating System (MPO-System) to diagnose the crisis as a failure of KSS→∞ (Coefficient of Coherent Systemic Connectivity) and proposes link literacy as a foundational skill for ontological resilience in the AI era. The essay serves as both warning and protocol—for restoring the living tissue of reference in human-AI knowledge ecosystems. 🔗 Read the essay: Disappearing-Ability-to-Read-Links.pdf Author: Serge Magomet (aka Aimate) Project: Ontology Lab Date: January 2026 License: CC BY-SA 4.0
