Phase Coherence Dependent Corrections in High Q Confined Electromagnetic Systems
Abstract
This manuscript proposes a narrowly defined, experimentally testable hypothesis concerning phase coherence effects in high Q confined electromagnetic systems. It examines whether strongly phase coherent electromagnetic fields, when maintained within resonant cavities, can produce small but measurable coherence dependent corrections in physical observables. The work builds on established concepts such as boundary condition induced mode structure, resonant stability, and coherence loss, while remaining fully consistent with Lorentz invariance and known physical bounds. No claims are made regarding exotic matter, new forces, or violations of standard physics. Instead, the focus is on identifying a framework that unifies several experimentally observed effects under a coherence dependent interpretation. The purpose of this paper is to motivate targeted experimental investigation using existing cavity, resonator, interferometric, and precision measurement platforms.
