Threshold Modulation of Tsunami Coupling in SP3: Lunar-Lag Effects Without Deterministic Prediction
Abstract
In the SP3 framework, tsunamis are interpreted as saturation-release phenomena in whichimpulsive triggers interact with a pre-conditioned ocean–space system. This noteformalizes how long-term lunar conditioning, responsible for Earth’s tides, can transientlymodulate local space-phase saturation without acting as a primary energy source. A singlethreshold inequality is introduced to distinguish weak from strong tsunami coupling. Theformulation clarifies how timing sensitivity may arise—through modulation ofsusceptibility—while explicitly avoiding deterministic or predictive claims.
