FOCAL-Topological Interferometer (IFT) at the Solar Gravitational Lens
Abstract
We propose a concept mission, the FOCAL-Topological Interferometer (IFT), operatingin the Solar Gravitational Lens (SGL) focal region to test MVC: a falsifiable density–topologyhypothesis predicting thresholded signatures in geometric phase and correlation dynamicsabove a critical local energy-density scale. We keep the critical density ρc as an unknownparameter to be constrained and define an internal BEC-based proxy for ρloc(ℓ). The keyexperimental handle is an interferometric-geometry scan (arm separation, interrogation time, and transport protocol), enabling a controlled scan of χ(ℓ) ≡ ρloc(ℓ)/ρc across unity. Themission is designed for autonomous triggered operation at ∼ 550 AU with a standby programthat delivers publishable calibration and null-test datasets prior to any rare astrophysicaltransient.
