Abstract
Abstract Man as a Place: The Transcendence of Time and Space in Digital Postmodernity and Traditional Theology The article undertakes a theoretical consideration of the role that a person can play in relation to the concept of place, understood in its broadest sense. It examines the meaning of home and family in the context of place-making is and describes selected transformations of the postmodern family. The subject of contemporary transcendence of time and space by man— achieved through digitization, storage media, and the lens of Christian faith — is addressed. Against this background emerges the image of a man who is capable of constituting a place, transcending both time and space.
