Eximia Continuum Protocol: Moment–Axis–Form - Operational Definitions, Metrics, and Ethical Boundaries_v1.0
Abstract
Abstract Continuum Protocol v1.0 is a coherence-based operational framework for continuity, memory reconstruction, and non-speculative investigation of discontinuities in living systems. It formalizes the Moment–Axis–Form model: (i) moments as physically recorded slices of process (e.g., photography as light-encoded evidence), (ii) axis as a continuity criterion that stitches experience and identity across time, and (iii) form as the carrier that realizes process. The protocol defines terms, proposes hypotheses (explicitly marked as hypotheses), introduces candidate metrics (Coherence Index, Axis Alignment Score, Noise Ratio, Continuity Reconstruction Score), and specifies minimal repeatable protocols for observation and ethical use. It explicitly rejects mystification, guarantees, and medical claims, and provides boundary conditions for responsible application and research dialogue. Continuum Protocol v1.0 is a preprint-level operational and research document within the Eximia corpus. It introduces a minimal, reproducible protocol for describing, observing, and discussing continuity and discontinuity in living systems using the Moment–Axis–Form model. The document focuses on: operational definitions, candidate metrics, repeatable observation protocols, and explicit ethical boundaries. It is published as a preprint to invite scrutiny, iteration, and interdisciplinary dialogue.
