Free Speech As Collapse Stress Test - An ACF Exploration under the Architecture of Limitation (v43)
Abstract
Post-Horizon Instrumental Lineage — 4 August 2026 This record forms part of the Post-Horizon Instrumental Lineage of the Architecture of Limitation research programme. The designation and conditions governing subsequent review are established in K1 Open Concordance Phase: A Structured Validation and Evidence-Alignment Programme for the Open Research Release of AoLOS, v1.0, 2 August 2026, doi:10.5281/zenodo.21758275. The record is retained unchanged as evidence of the conditions, tools, concepts, and architectural pressures through which the programme developed. Inclusion in this lineage does not imply retrospective K1 validation or completion of article-level concordance; any proposition-specific qualification, reanalysis, companion publication, or unresolved pressure will be recorded separately through the phase’s declared review process. -- This paper explores the idea of free speech under the input and output constraints of v43 within the Architecture of Limitation (AoL). The subject is deliberately selected as a stress test due to its high ambiguity, moral loading, and conflicting interpretations within the Admissible Cognitive Field (ACF). The goal is not to arrive at a formal definition, normative position, or policy recommendation, but to inspect and diagnose collapse signals as they emerge across stances, arguments, and governance layers. The value of this paper lies equally in its findings and in its method. It preserves the full exploratory path by which AoL approaches a maximally ambiguity-saturated discourse domain without collapsing into truth-ownership, boundary confusion, or ideological capture. Collapse is treated as diagnostic data rather than failure, allowing the architecture itself to be evaluated under pressure. This work belongs to the Architecture of Limitation research program.
