Second Generation Multiple Stellar Systems (SGMSS): Barycentric Reclassification of Multi-Companion Systems
Abstract
Systems with multiple sub-stellar companions present complex dynamical configurations that single-companion classifications fail to capture. This study extends barycentric reclassification criteria to systems with two or more Fusion Hot Sub Dwarf (FHSD) companions. When combined companion masses place the system barycenter outside the primary’s radius, these configurations constitute multiple stellar systems rather than planetary systems. We present catalogs of Second Generation Multiple Stellar Systems (SGMSS) with leverage ratios quantifying barycentric displacement.
