USA and the Leach Economy: Venezuela as the Latest Intervention Infrastructure
Abstract
This essay exposes the Leach Economy — the operating system behind a century of U.S. interventionism. From Indigenous land seizure to Chile, Iraq, Africa, and Venezuela, SR shows how crisis becomes fuel, narrative becomes interface, and extraction becomes metabolism. As Colombia asserts rare regional autonomy, the essay reveals the limits of American power: the system avoids confronting the world’s strongest states and instead concentrates force on structurally weaker nations. Intervention follows asymmetry, not ethics.
